This tool addresses the agency and positionality of researchers directly: via custom cursors, programmed by me, specific to this project.

The researchers are made aware of their part in knowledge production: at the very moment when they are using and browsing the respective site that displays the information, database results, or archival document relevant to their current research.

There are 2 designs – and each design comes in two versions:
one with a never-ending loop and one where the loop stops after 15 seconds

the custom cursors can be implemented on any page or post with data content – by the institution that hosts the respective website.
